Mosaic Building in Beijing by SAKO Architects

The Mosaic Building situated in China’s Capital city Beijing, created by Japanese architect Keiichiro SAKO / SAKO Architects. The lower part of the building is the department store, and 3 residential towers were built on top of it. The motif of “Mosaic” was adopted through out this project. The big volume consisting of “mosaic” is to convey the image of the landmark filled with festivity like the spectacle of fluttering confetti. Sustainable House 11 in Dunsborough by Dane Richardson

The House 11 created near the beach in Dunsborough, a district in Western Australia. This sustainable house was design by Australian architect Dane Richardson, framed and timber clad structure over concrete base. The building is focused towards the street & the beach beyond; the “skeleton” of timber posts has been very successful to define the form and threshold of the building also offering a level of privacy. Soft southern light penetrates the living room, however the northern glazing is what delivers the connection with the garden and beach beyond.
