This triangular house located in Viksberg Sweden, designed by Stockholm based architecture firm Tham & Videgård Architects. The Garden House integrated vertical addition to the garden, where indoor and outdoor spaces gradually blend and interact. This house using all wood material both structure and finishes combine with glass. The triangular foot print is the result of a steep slope that diagonally crosses the site. Located in Santiago Portugal, the Refuge Pavilion created by Francisco Portugal e Gomes collaborated with Fernando Gabriel. The project anticipates the rearrangement of an already existent construction annexed to a small house, in a refuge pavilion with 50 m². The implanting of the new building follows the limits of this existent construction in the west side, recycling small stone. Located in farm estate in the southern part of Berlin, Tim Bauerfeind and Henning von Wedemeyer from UTArchitects in collaboration with Matthias Lötscher and Ralf Grubert convert a 18th century farmhouse into a training center for carpenters. The basement of the farm house was dried up, roof and facades have been refurbished. Along with the restoration of interior wood fixtures some ancient wall and ceiling paintings have been exposed and restored. The project arranges the built-up blocks into two main entities: a “square”, that uses the lines and angles of the main streets with, as a counterpoint, on the secondary street Elsa Morante, a “tower”, that frees up the land and space, a volume whose contours are dematerialised compare with the UFR de Biologie block.
