Modern Black House in Buenos Aires by Andres Remy
This modern Black House ( also known as Casa CMK ) located in a closed neighborhood, 30km. away from Buenos Aires and designed by Andres Remy architects. This house is 20 meters wide and 50 meters length with 3 meter of lateral retreats that has amazing views to the lake. The shallow pool that divides the house in two allows the indirect light to bathe the interiors, as the northern sun reflects its light on the water surface. This way, light is present in every corner of the house, but never in a direct way. Both programs are linked by a glass bridge with water flowing beneath your feet. The lounge, 10 meters wide and 5 meters in length, opens with exterior walls of glass. They believed in a level below the rest of the house, making it permeable and allow the ambient own views to the lake. The resolution of the first floor meets the same criteria for areas of differentiation. At the front are the bedrooms for future children, overlooking the lake. As a bridge linking the two volumes of the lower floor is the master bedroom with a fake giant conquers the best view on the lake, seeming to float on water.
